Senior Projects Engineer/Manager and Lead Commissioning Coordinator, QP Operation Department (2013-2016)
Appointed following QP/MIC department restructuring to preside over all new and existing building and road projects throughout MIC. Control $250K$150M project budgets as well as $28M Maintenance budget for routine engagements. Develop corrective and preventive action plans including Risk Management for new tenders/proposals. Review, approve, and/or amend all technical documentation for each project within required deadline. Liaise directly with customers, ensuring all requirements are consistently met. Supervise team of 4 Project Engineers and all civil maintenance contractors, confirming adherence to QP corporate regulations as well as HSE and QA protocols.
Additionally; performed project commissioning duties for all civil, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, treated sewage effluent (TSE) network, and landscaping/irrigation work. Create snag lists for each discipline and issue certificates. Coordinate all required tests/audits through operational handover and monitor project warranty until final handover/project closeout.
Key accomplishments:
Devised/launched new preventive non-routine maintenance plan that reduced related costs 18%.
Authored standardized commissioning procedures manual specific to MIC operations comprising objectives, division of team member responsibilities, and project processes.
Designed project-specific commissioning plan (PSCP) requirements for commissionable/non-commissionable systems, checklists for pre-commissioning and pre-start safety audits, operational handovers, and final handovers, and certificates.
Turn off lights/equipment and implement use of digital vs. paper resources whenever possible to promote environmentally conscious work setting and conserve energy.

­ Main recreational club building (26K sq. meters) will include numerous elements such as multipurpose hall (1.6K-person capacity), kitchens/restaurants, VIP lounge, gymnasium, indoor sports facility, outdoor tennis courts, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
­ Site clearance, earthwork, roads, parking, utilities, and soft and hard landscaping are also included in the contract.
2013 to Present: EPIC contract for 2 new fire stations ($50M)
­ Fire stations will be located within MICs light industrial/community area and near the natural-gas liquid (NGL) plant and refinery.
­ Several training facilities will also be built for Fire Department use.
­ For infrastructure part of contract, presided over relocation/removal/disposal of old utilities and installation/testing of the following: electrical network and supplies, potable water supply systems, telecommunication grid, spare utility duct network, TSE network, surface water drainage network, and gravity foul sewers.
­ Water and wastewater treatment - risks and potentials in wastewater treatment and advanced technologies used in water treatment and reuse.
2012 to 2014: EPIC contract for Ministry of the Interior (MOI) integrated security facilities ($130M)

Directed onshore, building, and structure construction projects (both in-house and outsourced work) in MIC community, industrial, and port area. Prepared statements of requirements (SORs) and project initiation notes (PINs). Monitored project progress and reviewed/signed off on all submitted technical documents through project completion. Generated budgets, feasibility studies, identified sources of uncertainty related to project action plans and took management actions to achieve the aims of removing and/or reducing the likelihood and effects of risks before they occur, continuously monitor potential impact of risks, reviewed the associated action plans and managed adequate financial and schedule contingencies for risks should they occur.
