Mechanical Maintenance Manager
Initially employed as “Industrial Maintenance Supervisor” in August 2008; promoted to “Mechanical Maintenance Controller” in April 2012 and then to “Mechanical Maintenance Manager” as of January 2014.
Responsibilities covers four solid waste treatment plans: two sorting plants, a fermentation plant and a shredding and recycling plant.
Lead and manage a team of two controllers, three supervisors and thirty technicians.
Ensure that all the equipment of the industrial plants are operational with the optimal efficiency, maximum uptime and lowest cost through: evaluate the machines condition, avail the needed tools and spare parts, avail and training the convenient humans resources, set and implement the goals and plans and finally evaluate the entire process and the detailed tasks
Assign tasks, plan projects and supervise the “Periodic Preventive Maintenance”, the “Corrective Maintenance” and five “Emergency Maintenance” teams.
Prepare and execute the equipment yearly renovation plan for main production lines and equipment like waste balers, waste wrappers, PET balers, tires and wood shredders, sorting lines… Ensuring that work is done properly with high quality, respecting the time frame and the safety norms.
Organize and execute Capital Expenditure projects (Eddy Current, Sorting Line assembly, Sorting Line shortening, new Baler, new Wrapper, new Densimetric Table)
Prepare the maintenance department key performance indicators (KPI), monthly and yearly reports.
Implement safety standards into the department, create work permit for major tasks, safety tool box meeting, safety standards and trainings.
Manage maintenance budget and warehouse spare parts, make sure everything is under control and well maintained
