I am currently working for a Belgian theater company, based in Antwerp, called BERLIN.
We are making a theater production (with a video installation), titled Remember the Dragons - based on a previous production of ours Perhaps All the Dragons. In this production, 30 kids will be seen on television screens, telling a story. There is no live performance, everything is pre-recorded.
We would like to represent as many cultures/languages as possible, and are therefore looking to cast kids from all over the world. For practical reasons, we would like to find these children in Belgium.
We are looking for kids, ages ranging from 7 to 15 years old.
And at the moment we are mostly looking for the following profiles:
African, German, French, Russian, English (UK/US/Canada/Australia/NewZealand), Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Italian, Spanish.
If you can think of anyone who might be interested in participating, and can speak any of the above language fluently (preferably native speakers), please contact us.
The above list is not an exhaustive one, if you can think of anyone who might be interested in this project, but speaks another language than the ones mentioned above, don't hesitate to let us know.
You can take a look at our website to see the kind of projects we've done in the past, and also find out more about the original production Perhaps All the Dragons: berlinberlin.be/en/project/perhaps-all-the-dragons/
I can explain the project in further detail, if you are interested or have any questions.
Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance! And have a great week!
