Looking for a motivated entry-level Category Manager to manage a team of key account managers (KAMs). This is a data-centric position but must be able to translate data analysis into actionable KPIs.

Intrepid Vietnam was co-founded by Mr. Chris Beselin (first CEO of and Mr. Khang Chim (first Head of Sales of in June 2017. Prior to the development of Intrepid, Mr. Khang worked with Mr. Chris at fram^ Vietnam – an IT out-sourcing development and management company based in Vietnam. However, in November 2016, Mr. Max Bitner (CEO of the Lazada Group) reached out to Mr. Chris and Mr. Khang to build services to support the Lazada Group for the key account management of vendors for Lazada’s long-tail vendor profile.

The core of Intrepid’s services, along with other commercial, financial, and operational services, is rooted in Alibaba’s Taobao Partnership (TP) Program. Due to increasing overhead caused by expansion and the ever-present requirements needed to support vendors on a marketplace platform, Alibaba strongly urged Lazada to adopt the same business model and infrastructure after Alibaba’s first round of investment into the Lazada Group. As Mr. Chris and Mr. Khang were largely responsible for the development and growth of the Lazada Marketplace, they were ideal candidates to be Lazada’s first Lazada Partner (LP) in piloting these services. The official LP pilot began in December 2016 on the Lazada platform.

After successful completion of the LP pilot, fram^ Vietnam began scaling its operations to meet the demands of supporting a large number of B2B clients. This led to the creation of vendor management (KAM), vendor acquisition (Sales), content, and admin/HR teams. In May 2017, Mr. Khang was promoted to CEO of Intrepid Vietnam and Intrepid and fram^ split into two separate companies. At present, Intrepid employs 30 FTEs – of which over one third are previous Lazada employees – and has plans to expand its operations into Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia by end-of-year 2018.
