Looking to work for in the dotcom or telecom sector looking for a marketing and operations head. Currently working in India for the past nine years and looking to join my partner, a Burmese national, already working in Yangon. I bring over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneurial marketing and technology executive. I work full-time in India with marketing, corporate strategy, and operations teams to help ensure Indian firms meet international quality levels. I would like to do the same in SIngapore.
I have successfully launched new companies, products, and services. I executed the launch of the first unified messaging software for small business which was sold to Nokia for US $56M in 1998. I was instrumental in planning and executing the launch of the smallest closed loop motion control system, which eventually sold to the GSI Group for US $54M. Her latest major launch was introducing the world to the first entirely solar-powered mobile telecom and broadband internet network for India’s Shyam Telecom Group that now has systems deployed on five continents.
I moved from Chicago to India in 2007 to work with a number of Indian firms marketing to the West. Previously Associate Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for India’s Shyam Telecom Group, I directed coverage in some of the world’s leading media from the Wall Street Journal and Business Week, to Time and CNBC, and won top industry awards including the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer Awards, Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Awards and Fast Company’s Fast 50 during my tenure. Before moving to India, I won an Official Honoree Webby Award for developing the first social media-enabled network of 50 web sites for the third largest school district in Illinois.
