Senior manager with strong experience at global level in marketing and sales of durable consumer goods who worked for the world leading company in home appliances industry.
In a very challenging environment,my strongest achievement was to grow the business in major emerging countries (China,India,Brazil,Mexico), identifying market opportunities and launching winning products .

2003-2017 Global Product Manager & Business Developer – Global Microwave Business Unit
Reporting to the General Manager of the business unit, I led at global level the microwave product
category,managing a team of 5 local product managers (Asia,Europe and USA).
Key responsabilities:
• Mentorship of the local marketing teams.
• Definition of the business and manufacturing strategies with the objective to build up global product platforms.
• Management of the projects to secure to reach costs and product launches targets.
• Lead of competitive intelligence.

Key results:
• Global growth of 80% in Net Sales (650M $) and 60% in Units (4,5M) .
• Market leader in Latin America (30% market share), number 2 in Europe (leader in Italy) and USA .
• Breakthrough sales growth in Emerging markets (x 10 in Brazil / x 5 in Mexico and India) reaching top 3 ranking in these markets.
• Launch of a complete Whirlpool branded product range in the chinese market in 2015 following the take over of Sanyo China.
• Lead of the global outsourcing strategy (platforms,suppliers).

1997-2002 Category Manager Europe Microwaves – Whirlpool brand
Reporting to the Product Marketing Director,I managed the microwave category for Whirlpool brand in
EMEA markets (Europe,Middle East and Africa) representing 160M € Net sales and 1.2M Units with strategic positioning on mid/high end segment.
I was accountable to support centrally the local marketing and sales organizations through the development
of the marketing tools for the launch of the new products.

Key results:
• Market share growth of 2 points and best profitability among all Whirlpool EMEA product categories reaching an IOP level of 5%.
• Leadership in the cooking segment and average price 60% higher than competition leveraging the quality and performance of our products rewarded as “best in class” by several European independents consumer institutes.
• Market launch in 2000 of a breakthrough space saving and innovative platform (Max) which received an European industrial design award and reached a record level of sales of 200K units the first year of launch.

1995-1996 Trade Marketing Manager –South Europe
Reporting to the Marketing Director South Europe, my role was to support South Europe (Italy,Spain,Portugal and Greece) marketing and sales teams to define a dedicated go to market strategy for the growing mass market retail channel (hypermarkets and department stores) in the region.
Together with the key account manager,I formulated a business plan for each of the most important dealers
(Carrefour,Auchan,Casino),including dedicated product range and trade marketing activities to meet sales targets.

1989 –1994 WHIRLPOOL FRANCE-Suresnes

1993-1994 Sales Regional Manager – Paris and North Region
Reporting to the French Sales Director,I was in charge of the largest French region (30% of total market) for the brands Bauknecht,Laden and Radiola,managing a sales team of 4 people.
Our team reached a sales growth of 15% (Net sales 20M € ) through a distribution network of 250 distributors.

1989-1992 Category Manager Washing – Suresnes
Reporting to the French Marketing Director,I managed the Washing product family second largest category within Whirlpool ,with a level of Net sales of 150M €.
My role was to define the ideal product portfolio for the French market negotiating with the Central Marketing team and the manufacturing and engineering teams located in France and Italy.
My achievement was to reach the 2nd position on the French market.


1987-1988 Planning Manager Small Domestic Appliances - Suresnes
Reporting the the Logistic Head of the Division ,I was in charge to manage the supply chain process for Philips
Small Domestic Appliances.My role was to define with marketing our monthly sales forecast by product line and manage the supply of the products according to our requirements working closely with the Central Logistics team located in Groningen (Holland).
I have reached my targets of product availability (95%) and year end stock level (5 weeks) .

1983-1986 Area Manager Small Domestic Appliances - Marseille
Reporting to the Sales Regional Manager,I managed the sales of small domestic appliances to the traditional retail and hypermarkets channels in Provence and Languedoc regions (South France).
