Magical Indian Nights by Madhavi

Welcome to a night of magical Indian culture. Madhavi will present the ancient classical dance art of Bharata Natyam as well as Bollywood dances. She will introduce you to the captivating world of Indian mythology and the gods and goddesses will become alive through Madhavi's dance, through the poetic language of the hand gestures (Mudras) and the powerful movements and rhythms. In the second half of the evening Madhavi will entertain you with enchanting Bollywood dances to electrifying sounds. Born in Germany Madhavi's journey into the philosophy, wisdom and art of India started after graduating from the University of Cologne, Germany. She lived in India for 10 years and studied this art in Chennai, South India. Madhavi returned to Europe as a master of this dance art and started building bridges between East and West through performances, workshops and classes in well-known cultural institutions, theatres and museums as well as radio and TV appearances as a cultural ambassador. www.facebook.com/indiandancebymadhavi
