This is the first Latin Brazilian night at Kings & Barrels!
For the opportunity, we are collaborating with the uprising Brazilian dance school Forró Do Leão,
The event start at 7.30pm with a Wine promotion 1 for 1 Shiraz and Chardonnay till 9pm.
From 8.30pm, 1 hour free Forró beginners dance lesson by teachers Karine and Lester, followed by one 1 hour free style Forró Social dancing from 9.30pm under monitoring of our amazing teachers.
The whole event is Latin-Brazilian with un accent on Forró Social dance discover.
Dj's Mukesh and Dj Roger shall team up for an extraordinary Latin Brazilian night.
Music taste. Forró dance music, general braziian music, Salsa, Merengue , Bachata,Cha Cha, Reggaeton and more Latin
It's free entrance for all, this is Brazilian day!!
What Forró dance?:
Forro is the most popular partner dance in Brazil. It is also practiced by a great number of "forrozeiros" all over Europe and worldwide for the last number of years. With three main rhythms baiao, xote and arrasta-pé, one of the most important aspects of the dance form is the connection with both the partner and the music. Riding the lively rhythm of Forro music, the two partners can move on a fast pace as well as a slow and flowing move. Come and try this funny and beautiful dance. The steps are easy to pick up and you dont need any dance background to follow up and have fun!

A quick word about me : passionate about many forms of dance - forro was the first partner dance I tried and i fell in love with - have been dancing for many years and teaching now in Singapore
