Welcome to the 3d edition of the Latin Fiestas series by Club Elixir.
In this edition, we will take you around to the world of Zouk dance and Kizomba with classes French Zouk by teacher Auree and master teacher Gupson Pierre for Kizomba classes on the 3d floor.
Dance classes 10sgd for an hour and sgd 15 for 2 hours.
2d Floor:
DJ Roger spins from authentic salsa, marengue,bachata and more mainstream Latin Reggaeton (True South American flavours) Ladies be warned, the dance floor will surely turn hot!
Our special guest of the evening, DJ Taf will spin
Kizomba, Semba and his specialty, Afrohouse,
deep soulful and energetic baselines that hijack your eardrums and effortlessly triggers your body to move. With its roots in Classic (Chicago) House, the ancestral African spirit has been infused into House Music to create AfroHouse. The freestyle and improvised movements of House Dance are flawlessly blended with the African soul. Intricate footwork to the rhythmic melodies, the instrumentation and the African drum give rise to the high energy dance that is AfroHouse. The connection between AfroHouse Music and the Dance is practically spiritual. It creates sheer ecstasy in a dancing experience like no other where the music just takes control.
