No Longer Native is an expat blog from an American couple living in Bogotá, Colombia. Our blog is a journal containing our travels, cultural musings and bits of our everyday life. We also want this to be a resource for others facing the same life change. In May of 2014 we packed up everything we didnt give away and moved to Bogotá, Colombia. Since then we have been learning Spanish, exploring our new city, and figuring out how we can keep this thing going as long as possible.
Flavors of Bogota is the chronicle of my discoveries here in Bogota and Latin America in general. As a food and travel writer, I%u2019m always meeting chefs, restaurant owners, writers and editors who all have their fascinating stories. I%u2019m involved in food events, restaurant openings and trends in Colombia and I love to share those experiences. Traveling as a travel writer is quite different than as a tourist, and I share that perspective.
