Get an insight of expats' daily life in Cape Town and read their blogAdd your blog
I am a Finnish girl in my twenties, I have travelled the world and in some unexplained way I ended up moving to South Africa. I was living in Mpumalanga and now moved to Cape Town. I am trying my best to adjust to my new home country and now also a new home town. This blog is about my new life in SA, in better and for worse.
This is a blog about the joys, tribulations and curiosities of a life overseas - about what it's like to discover Africa for the very first time and what it's like to realize you're meeting yourself for the first time, too. I'm an American and have been living in South Africa for five years. At the moment, I’m lucky enough to call Noordhoek, part of Cape Town, my home. I started this blog as a writing project for myself, and to share some of my experiences with friends and family. If I get it right my writing will be interesting to others, too – someday I hope to be published.
