My husband and I first discovered the wonderful Portuguese approach to food and life in 2004 on Madeira. After many Madeirian holidays, we decided in 2013 it was about time we discovered mainland Portugal. Looking for Winter sunshine, nature on the doorstep and good public transport which was also away from the main tourist areas led us to the east Algarve. We now stay here for up to 6 months of the year every year.
Nomadic by Nature is a travel blog written by Mike McCaffrey featuring small chronicles from the far corners of a big world. It focuses on travel in the developing world, drawing insights from the road, telling stories of adventure, and providing tips on some of the best places to travel.
Expat In The City is the much improved version of the older blog. EITC discusses issues that matter to foreign workers in newfound lands, just because information is something that should be shared with everyone else.
