Putting the Belle in Belgium

My website comes from a love of all things Southern food, decorating, and hosting, with a few entertaining travel stories in between. Everyday, Im just doing my best to mesh the old and the new and have a few friends over for brunch and dinner to celebrate. Besides, you can take the girl out of Texas, but you cant take Texas out of the girl.

Relocated to Belgium since July 2016 under a cohabitation visa. My blog is to document my journey in Belgium. The first series that I have written is "Legal Cohabitation Visa for a Well-Prepared Battle". It is to help people with a similar situation like me - applying for a cohabitation visa in Belgium. Subsequently, I hope to spend more time in the future writing about my travel in Belgium and other parts of Europe. Not forgetting about the love of many people. That is food search. I would like to introduce more Asian food since it is my number one love. Coming from Singapore which is an international food paradise, I would be able to tell you what are quality, authentic Asian cuisine. Yum... Yum...

Exploring the world by kayak. I've moved from New York to California to the Netherlands to Belgium over the past 5 years. With each move I explore my new home by boat and write up my findings here.
