Hello, Could you give me some advise? We will live in Sofia as of July. I read a lot about robberies of foreign people living in Sofia. Is it that worse or should we be carefull? I am also looking for a primary school for my 2 daughters 5 and 8. Do you have suggestions? Thanks! Serge

I may be moving to Bulgaria (20,000 € per year job) and I have some questions I'd appreciate having answers to. 1) What does everyday life cost? 2) What do you pay in taxes? 3) Is it hot in the summer? 4) Is cycling a common sport? 5) How do citizen react to Americans? French? Thanks for any answers you may want to send. Diana

be moving to Bulgaria (20,000 %u20AC per year job) and I have some questions I\'d appreciate having answers to. 1) What does everyday life cost? Things are not very expensive. It will not be a major blow on your daily budjet. 2) What do you pay in taxes? Electricity, water, if you are living in a flat, stair-way electricity. 3) Is it hot in the summer? It depends. June - 30-35 degrees in celcius, july - 30-38 degrees celcius, August - 30 - 38 degrees celcius, September - 25- 30 degrees celcuis. 4) Is cycling a common sport? Ofcourse, this is a European country, not a medieval state. 5) How do citizen react to Americans? French? They react..i suppose normal. We are friendly and hospitable. Beware - Bulgarian is hard to learn. Thanks for any answers you may want to send. FOR DIANA -.^ Answewred by a Bulgarian. My name is Iliyan Stoichev.
