Thanks -- loved hearing from you. We're on the opposite side of town (by State House) so am not familiar with Kafue Road dwellings. We still haven't hiked down to boiling pot but on our next trip we will.

I thoroughly enjoyed the articles and it certainly brought back memories of the past when I would walk down towards the boiling pot!! What a feeling that was and getting a shower or more like it a drenching whilst walking towards the Knife Edge Bridge was an awesome feeling. Yes, I used to live in Zambia many years ago when copper prices were high and the "pipeline" for exchange remittances was like three months behind schedule. From the map, it looks like you are in Lusaka? Maybe I am wrong. I used to stay on the Kafue Road on the left hand side just past the Zambia National Service. Guess Water Wells and Tags Boreholes are still there? I was down the road from Tags Boreholes - if I remember the name just before Kearney & Co - the master Irishman who did all the roads for the Zambian government. Old Charlie Kearney was a character - bless him and his wife - a jewel of a couple. Cheers
